Little Spirits at My Window

Last summer there were many hummingbirds that fed at my many feeders.  I witnessed courtship, fights, and the emergence of new spirits gracing my awareness. Now that it is winter, or soon to be, there are only two who remain.

There is the older male, with his strong presence and gleeming colors, and a younger female.  The female frequents my office window feeders.

This tiny bird and beautiful spirit visited today during a phone reading session with my dear friend and fellow clairvoyant reader Cyndi.  We had just finished with a focused meditation and talk of our upcoming class by phone entitled Meditation for Conscious Living.

As Cyndi was sharing a recent shamanic experience I asked her to pause and notice the hummingbird presense. “Here I am, right here, right now”, was the answer Cyndi shared of her communication with the hummingbird presence outside my window.  “Yes, that’s it”, I returned with a smile.

I had felt almost the identical statement earlier in the day as I refilled the tiny feeder.  The female was resting on the lilac branches, awaiting her morning breakfast.  She fluttered to another branch several times once the full feeders were in place, but while I changed them she sat quietly on the branch.  The message was clear, “I am, here and now.”  This moment is of more importance than the moments that will follow, so give it your presence.
